Accessibility Statement.
We want everyone — including people with disabilities — to be able to use this website.
Last updated: July 2026
Covenant Life Birth & Wellness Foundation is committed to making covenantlifemi.org accessible to as many people as possible. Accessibility is part of how we live out our mission: care that leaves no one unseen extends to how we build our website, too.
The Standard We Follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized international standard for making web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive differences.
What We’ve Done
As we built this site, we worked to make it usable for everyone by including:
- Clear page structure and headings that screen readers can follow.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible highlight showing where you are on the page.
- Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting, which turns off animations.
- Captions on our featured video, in both English and Spanish.
- Readable typography, generous spacing, and attention to color contrast.
- A responsive design that works on phones, tablets, and computers.
Where We’re Still Improving
We consider this site partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA — meaning most of it meets the standard, and we are continually working to improve. A few known limitations:
- Some embedded third-party tools, such as our Zeffy donation form, are outside our direct control and may not fully meet the standard.
- Our downloadable one-page PDFs (like the Case for Support) may have limited screen-reader support. If you’d like the information in another format, just ask — see below.
- This site has not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit.
